Description
Here’s a 2.5″ arrowhead pendant flintknapped from a material that rarely allows itself to be knapped. It’s generally known by geologists as Brecciated Jasper and noted for its strikingly beautiful patterns within. The problem for flintknappers like myself is that Brecciated Jaspers are rarely solid enough to be knapped. This unknown Brecciated Jasper came from a ranch in Mexico, and to my surprise, knaps rather well. I named it Debitage Jasper. Was there a limited amount of this unique knapping material? Yes!
