Fiber Optic glass is an amazing material used not only in high tech communications, but also for creating unqiue jewelry. In this case I flintknapped this striking blue fiber optic glass into a butterfly, measuring just under 2 inches across. It has a couple of characteristics worth mentioning. First it’s definitely has a bling factor, and secondly, you won’t find this in a jewelry store among mass produced inventory.
