Ocean Wave Agate is always a thing of beauty and this Wintu point is no exception. It’s over 4.75″ long and the notch entries are .75 mm. Did prehistoric Wintus have notch entries this narrow? No, but notch entries weren’t the most critical thing for a functional Wintu point. It is, however, a provokative challenge for modern knappers. This one should go in the Keeper Case but I can’t find a place to make it fit, not to mention that Ocean Wave hasn’t been available for years. The colors and pattern in this point are crazy.
