Petrified Palmwood of knapping quality is not a common material but finding a piece of this size and color is well beyond rare. It’s an art knife of prodigious proportions, the blade, alone, measuring 9 inches. The only thing that seemed appropriate for such an exquisite petrified palmwood stone blade was fresh, seasoned red palmwood. The guard and pommel are Ebony, with a dyed Tiger Maple spacer. The overall length of this unique collectible knife is 15 inches.
